Install

Run Robovoice-Setup-x64.exe and pick where to install it.

If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. This release isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen doesn't recognise it.

Open Robovoice from the Start menu and sign in with your robovoice.io account.

Install

Ubuntu / Debian (recommended): install the .deb. It adds Robovoice to your app menu and keeps Chromium's full sandbox.sudo apt install ./robovoice_amd64.deb

Other distros: make the AppImage executable, then run it. No root and no extra packages needed.chmod +x Robovoice-x86_64.AppImage ./Robovoice-x86_64.AppImage

Launch Robovoice and sign in with your robovoice.io account.

Troubleshooting

“AppImages require FUSE” came from older builds. Download the current one, or run ./Robovoice-x86_64.AppImage --appimage-extract-and-run.
Sandbox error on Ubuntu 24.04: install the .deb. The AppImage starts without Chromium's sandbox where Ubuntu blocks it (noted in ~/.config/Robovoice/launcher.log).

A signed, notarized macOS build (Apple silicon and Intel) is on the way. Everything the desktop app does also works in your browser today.
